10) How To Earn More With AdSense

Google AdSense is a great way to supplement your web site's income! So what exactly is Google AdSense?

This is a program run by Google that pays you per click. You sign up for free, paste a little bit of (Adsense) code on your website and every time someone clicks the links on your site, you get paid a certain amount per click.

Some clicks are worth higher than others depending on the "keyword" that the ad is targetting. What does this mean?

Google AdSense are "contextual based" ads, meaning that they display the links for people to click on based on the context of your website.

For example if you have a website about "tennis" then the ads Google AdSense will display will be all about tennis. So if the text on your site that Google is basing their AdSense ads on is for "tennis balls", then the keyword phrase "tennis balls" may be paying higher per click than "tennis racket".

Here are a few tips to get better earnings with Google AdSense:

1. Don't make your ads look like ads!
People are so "banner blind" now that they'll skim right over your AdSense ads if you make them look too much like actual ads. By removing the background and the border of your ads and making them blend in with your own site's background, it will help your sales tremendously!

2. Don't click your own links!
It may be tempting to earn that potential $0.03 for yourself but in the long run it's not worth it! Google has ways to detect "click fraud" and you WILL get caught and you'll forfeit all of your earnings thus far.

3. Put your ads close to your content!
Don't put your content way up at the top and then put your AdSense ads waaaay down at the bottom. You won't get very many click throughs. Make sure your web content is actually integrated with your ads.

4. Have relevant keywords on your site!
If your site is about "web site traffic" and you just keep mentioning the word "traffic" by itself, your Google AdSense ads may display ads for rush hour traffic, or traffic jams. Which has nothing to do with your website. Keep your ads relevant by giving your content good, thorough keywords.

If you just apply these simply and effective tips, you WILL see an increase in your Google AdSense revenue! While it's best not to put all your eggs in one basket and have AdSense as your only income earner, it is definitely a good way to make a nice little supplemental income on your website!

9) Improved "Adsense Blogs" Making Better Money ...

A few top secrets which will increase the money you make from all your Adsense sites on a monthly basis and for the more advanced, a quick look at some top Adsense videos.
-----------------------------------------------------

If you haven’t looked to Adsense as a money earner for your websites, you may be missing out on an additional income stream which could be making your business top dollars especially if you have a large content site.

Not only are webmasters earning additional money from Adsense with their current sites, many are actually building sites designed to maximize their Adsense revenue…. and they are making huge amounts of income by doing so.

Like any type of website, there is a fair amount of work involved in setting up an Adsense site however more importantly there are quite a few tip and tricks… or should I say secrets that should be known which will ensure that Google Adsense pays you the maximum amount of money on a monthly basis.

So here are some basics to start

1. The larger the website the better. Any website with thousands of pages will receive many more hits from the search engine than a small site.

2. Free content is a great way to go when building a site… articles, books, software and so on.

3. A few inbound links will ensure higher rankings thus bringing in more money every month.

Now for a few of those top secrets….

4. Place Adsense on 90% of your pages.

5. Vary the type of Adsense Ads on your pages.

6. Place at least one Adsense ad above the fold on your pages

7. Experiment with pictures above each Adsense ad.

8. Experiment with the ads blending into the page and standing out.

9. Some statistics have shown that the large rectangular Adsense ads get the most clicks.

10. If building a website from scratch do research on the most profitable keywords for your websites topic.

Above I have only listed a few of the tips and secrets on Adsense. There are many good books and videos currently online that will help increase your Adsense income significantly of which you should look into if you are serious about making Adsense another of your full time income streams.

The final thing I would also recommend is Adsense tracking software. I use software constantly and it has easily doubled my Adsense income within the last six months alone.

As with any business or income proposal, make sure you do your research as this will ensure not only maximum exposure on the internet but also the best possible profits for your websites and online business.

8) Adsense Income...3 Easy Steps!

If you are looking for a faster way to get sites up I would recommend buying some of the ready made Adsense sites, Most of them are well built with all the bells and whistles and not very expensive, and in no time you will be a beginner blogger making money.
------------------------------------------------------------

1. You need to sign up for an Adsense account. It's a simple process, but you will have a short wait while your site is approved. Once your website is approved you are free to use Adsense ads on any site you have, but just because you don't need to have the other sites approved you will still need to make sure you are following the Adsense terms.

They are very strict and if you are caught breaking their terms you stand the risk of having your account suspended.

2. Building your pages will be your next step. The key to this is finding a keyword that has a lot of demand, but not a lot of competition. If you want to go the free route you can use nichebot to find the demand and the competion. If you have the money you will get a much better selection of keywords with Wordtracker. You want to use the keyword in the title of your page and in the body of the page a few times.

For content you can write your own or you can visit an article directory and find a good article to use on your page, if you do that look for an article that has your keyword in the body a few times. If you do use someone elses article be sure their bio is included on your site, that is the reason they allow you to use their article.

3. We are ready to add the Adsense ads to the site now.
You are allowed to use three ads, A good placement of the ads should be one at the top of the page, one vertical ad on the right side, and one ad at the bottom. If you decide to use just one ad I would put it at the top of the page. The Adsense ads will have a border around them, but most people remove that by changing the color of the border the same color of the page, so if your page is white just change the border color white and you won't see the border. You want the ad to blend in to your page as much as possible.

Ok, now it's just a matter of just waiting for traffic and you can start getting paid each time someone clicks on the Adsense ads.

It may take awhile to get your pages indexed, so in the mean time you might need to write a few articles to get a little traffic to your site.

There are other ways to build sites, some people use programs that will build thousands of pages quickly, but I think the search engines have been able to identify most of those types of sites so I don't recommend using them.

If you are looking for a faster way to get sites up I would recommend buying some of the ready made Adsense sites, Most of them are well built with all the bells and whistles and not very expensive.

Good Luck! And have fun as a beginner blogger making money with Adsense.

7) How Do I Get Traffic To My Website?

Internet Marketing requires you to sell other people’s products or services, or if you have decided to create your own product, sell your own. But whether you are selling your own or others, we all have one thing in common – getting traffic to our websites. But what is most important is not just getting traffic, but targeted traffic. Thus, How Do you or I get traffic to our sites?
--------------------------------------

In my early beginnings on the Internet, I tried many methods of getting traffic to my website. I was definitely a newbie in training – some of the software or services that I bought did me no good. I found, at times, that it was truly difficult to decipher which was a good deal and which was not – who was honest, and who was not – but I guess it goes with the Internet territory – and you must always do your due diligence.

However, I have found three methods of getting traffic to my site or affiliate product or service:
+ Buying it
+ PPC, such as Google, Mamma, Overture,
+ linking or
+ the hard one Search Engine Optimization.

Pay-Per-Click

If you have the money to invest in Google or some of the other search engines pay-per-click programs you can make some money. Here you create an ad or ads relevant to your affiliate program, and place a bid on the keywords you select. This takes time, energy, persistence and money – and research.

Also, I would advise that you read your affiliate programs rules, as well as, the rules of Google Adwords before jumping into the pay-per-click arena. You usually have to put “aff” after your ad or something similar to that – it’s dependent upon the affiliate program you are in. The idea with pay-per-click is that you pay only when the individual clicks on your ad.

Linking

Linking can be by either paid or unpaid methods. The paid methods are paying for your link to be shown in Ezines, newsletters or on other peoples’ sites. It can be costly, so the best suggestion that I can give you is to research the Ezines, newsletters and or other people sites that you want to link with before buying.

In most cases, if ezines are accepting advertising, you know they must have at least 500+ subscribers, or I should say, be sure that they have at least 500+ subscribers before advertising in their ezine. Know what you are getting before you put your money down – and as they always say, be sure to read the fine print.

The unpaid method is through article creation. This requires hard work on your part, but the return will be seen in the long term. Keep in mind, your articles should be relevant and address the subject matter of your site and products. Content reigns king on the Internet – and if it is relevant to their needs – they will eventually come to read.

Search Engine Optimization

Search Engine Optimization is basically the optimization of your web pages so that you can get a decent ranking by the search engines, and thus, to pull people to your website by it relevance. This is a difficult chore and needs to continually be worked at – and within the ethics of the Search Engines.

To conclude, getting targeted people to your site is really part of growing your business. And Internet marketing – well, it’s not for the faint-hearted, but for the determined, persistent individual who wants to really make a living on-line. Thus, if you really want to make a living on-line – don’t give up and promote.

6) Adsense: Tips and Tricks...

Every single website and its owner have the opportunity to make some great money by displaying Google Adsense ads on it. Although many webmasters are making a nice income with these ads, many aren't.
-----------------------------------------------------------------

Many people say that all you have to do is put up a website and you'll be making over $100 a day with Google Adsense. It does sound simple and it is, but you will need to optimize your site so that you do generate more and more clicks on the ads that are sitting on your site.

The first thing that you need to do is to "Place the Google Adsense ads in the right spot" of the page.

This will determine how much money you will make each day. It is very important that you place the ad at the top of the page (above the fold) on your website in order to get the most clicks.

What this really means is that you will want to place the Adsense code that Google gives you high enough on the page so that your visitors do not have to scroll down to see the Google ads. If you choose to have the ads right at the top above everything else then do that.

By placing the Google Adsense ads at the top of your website above the fold, there is a greater chance that people will click on the ad, which will help your site generate a higher click through rate also known as CTR.

The reason for this is because the majority of your visitors will not scroll down the page and look at it. A lot of the time, people look over the top part of the page without worrying about scrolling down. The way you blend the ads with the rest of your page can determine if the ad is visually appealing or not. It is very crucial to make the Google Adsense ads look like your site and not another ad.

You can do this by making the font and color of the ad's text similar to the rest of the page. I also recommend that you blend the background of the ad with the background of your page. It should basically have the same color.

Google gives you the option to go into your account and customize your ads in different fonts and colors. This will help you blend the ads to your site. Make sure that you don't use the banner ads on your site because this will decrease your click through rate.

People who visit your website usually try to avoid any banner and picture ads that they see. If you want to increase your click through rate, you will want to add text ads. Google gives you that option so use it.

Here are some other small tips to increase your Adsense income:

1. Google has confirmed that using the 336x280 rectangle ad block size does have the highest click through rate. Using this ad size will increase your click through rate and the income that you generate.

2. Using a blue underline for the links can also improve your click through rate. This allows the ads to actually stand out and look clickable.

If you follow the advice given above, you can improve your CTR and make more money with Google Adsense.

5) Additional Methods of Getting Articles Without Writing

There are several ways to producing articles as a beginner blogger without having to write them yourself. Using a ghostwriter is one way, using private label rights articles you have bought is another option and doing an expert interview is yet a third way to compile article information.

Borrowing another writer's article for use is yet another way to provide content for readers. Give the original author credit within the body of your article and fill in the rest with quotes from that author's article.

This is a can't lose situation for everyone. You don't need to do the writing of your article, the writer who wrote the original article gets free publicity, and the reader gets the information that they want or need. Everybody wins.

Using public domain articles that are related to your subject is yet another way. Permission from the author to use their work isn't necessary, but letting your reader know where the content originated will keep their trust. Don't try to pass the words off as your own.

Use survey results from a self-conducted survey as an article. This does mean you'll have to write a little, but compiling the results and turning it into a fast article isn't very hard or time-consuming. You can create surveys through Survey Monkey at www.surveymonkey.com .

Use government provided information. Articles written by United States Government Authors are automatically in the public domain. The government is a prolific writer - on a wide variety of topics. Visit any United States Government website, and you will be greatly surprised with the amount of information that is free for the taking.

As you have seen, providing quality articles without writing a single word, or with just a bit of writing is possible. The information and means is there, use them, and you will be making money in no time.

4) 7 Reasons You Need to Market with Articles Now

The beginner blogger has to look for a simple way to get an edge on the competition?

Successful businesses who are in it for the long haul continually apply innovative marketing strategies and tactics to differentiate themselves and get that edge. Two such killer marketing strategies are positioning and relationship building. And guess what?

Article marketing is a proven tactic that just happens to address both of those marketing strategies. Is it the “be all, end all” of positioning and relationship building? Absolutely not. However, it is an excellent step in the right direction. And on top of that, there’s probably a good chance that your competition is not using this tactic.

Face it. It takes some time, skill, and effort to write and effectively use articles, that’s why the masses don’t do it however, those looking for an edge do.

So why choose article marketing as one of your marketing tactics?

Here are 7 exceptional reasons:

1. It is quite simple. People love to buy from and deal with the best. Writing and effectively marketing your articles helps you position yourself as the expert in your field.

2. Let's take this first concept a step further for reason #2. Let’s be blunt here, as an expert, you can justifiably increase your rates and charge more for your products.

3. If your articles are good and distributed properly, they can spread like wildfire and literally cause a viral marketing frenzy. Ultimately driving business your way.

4. A big part of Internet marketing has to do with the Search Engines like Google, Yahoo, MSN, etc. It’s critical that we play their game. That being said, Search Engines love content such as articles! Many Internet marketers try the latest fad to trick Search Engines into getting a better ranking. If you have a lot of time and/or money on your hands to keep up with the latest trends and the ever changing Search Engine rules, then do what you feel is right. However, one tactic still holds true with improving Search Engine ranking, and that’s article marketing.

5. People love to be and feel well informed – It helps them make better decisions. Your articles can serve as the source for the input they seek. And who better to buy from then the source that provided the information in the first place.

6. Talk about getting major bang for the buck, articles can easily be repurposed in a variety of ways. For example:
==> They can become content for your or someone else's newsletter;
==> Used as free giveaways to prospects/clients, in seminars, at networking events, etc;
==> Used to spark conversation in a blog or an online networking group such as Ryze;
==> Combine multiple articles into an eBook, book or info-product that can be sold or given away in exchange for contact information;
==> Become the basis for a live seminar or teleseminar;
==> And we can go on and on and on.

7. Articles when distributed properly are a great way to stay in touch with clients and prospects. Studies have shown that on average it takes around 7 touches before a prospect buys. Why not use articles as some of those touches? This will help continually boost your prospect’s perception of you as someone who consistently adds value.

We live in an age where information is king. We all know something others would be interested in knowing. Share your knowledge and like a magnet you’ll draw your prospects towards you, and soon the beginner blogger will start making money.

3) Adsense is for Everyone

When Google's AdSense appeared, there were a lot of people who doubted Google's idea would be marketable and actually generate any profits. Yet as we stand here today it's probably the most well known pay per click venture in the world.

Yes, all those nay sayers ended up eating their own words in the end. And that is because the folks at Google never go and do something without assessing whether or not it will be profitable, or exactly how profitable it is.

But of course, as you might very well know, AdSense isn't just profitable for Google. It's also profitable for the people who advertise via AdWords and very profitable for publishers who use it to make earnings which are sometimes just enormous.

So one must ask himself why this is such a good deal for everybody. And the question in itself is very justified because you hardly ever come across something that's profitable for everyone in the chain. So why would AdSense be any different.

Well, AdSense is where it stands today, giving benefits for everybody in the game because it exploits a gap in the Internet's advertising model.

You see, the Internet is a very interactive environment, and its interactions come from the people who are browsing. They choose whether or not to follow a certain link and the term "navigating" is probably the most precise one at describing this situation.

So AdSense is great because it links together buyers and sellers. Yes, you have to hand it out to Google for a brilliant idea. They know there are people out there that want to buy stuff and people who want to sell them what they're interested in. And Google AdSense helps members of the two categories find each other.

It works for the visitors, because the model is very transparent. You don't see a huge graphic banner which tries to lure you into buying something. You just see a few words. And if you like what you see you can just click it. It works because visitors don't have that feeling of someone trying to lure them into spending money. Ironically, however, they're wrong.

It works for the AdWords advertisers because their ads go everywhere. Not only will they find themselves listed in Google's search which gets gazillions of hits per day, up front without working as much for SEO and waiting so much.

Their ads can reach any website that deals with anything similar to what they're trying to sell. Now you must realize they could never pull of such great advertising by themselves. And that brings us to the thing that makes Google's AdSense a publisher's best friend.

It comes from the fact that the ads are contextual, that they somehow related to the keywords you deal with on your page. Because people or on your site, which deals with a certain topic, you already know they're interested in that topic.

But, hey, wait a minute, Google knows some companies which want to sell your visitors something related to their topic. Google wants your visitors, you want Google's advertisers and the visitors just want to buy stuff. And that is the essence of what makes AdSense a great deal for everybody.

This is by far the most profitable hook-up deal you're ever going to see anywhere on the Internet.

So you have to appreciate Google for realizing a killer deal. You have to appreciate how well thought out, yet simple this scheme really is. Sure, in practice it has a few quirks but those are minor and, up to this point everyone seems to be enjoying Google's AdSense.

2) Blogging: Using Adsense Making Money

What is Adsense? What is Monetization? The best way to learn making money thru blogging ist just: Start doing it.

Get on your feet and make your website and start making money with Adsense. There's a lot to take in here but don't be put off by the foreign sounding nature of it all. Thru persistence and a lot of reading and perseverance everything will come together.

The fact is that with Adsense, it is the easiest way to start making money online. With a very basic website and just a few people coming to it you will start to earn money. As you develop the site and bring more traffic to it an average Adsense monetized website will make between $200 and $500 each and every month with little work needed.

Despite this, there are lots of people who is struggling and the reason is that they are usually greedy and are trying to make a massive amount of money very fast. Therefore they are consequently not breaking each aspect of the process down to its basics.

The reality is that from scratch and from "nothing", it really is not possible to make Big Bux $$ from Adsense in a very short time ... People who make a lot of money with Adsense have done one of two things:

1. They have Integrated Adsense into a website that already has high traffic, or

2. They have built a large network of niche websites each of which generates $200 - $500 a month. If you build 50 (it is doable within the time-period of 1-2 years, it is completely feasible to set this up), you can earn up to about $10,000-$25,000 a month which equals out to $300,000 a year.

This is okay and pretty good for a network of what are fundamentally very basic websites, the Adsense Empire Building territory.

Creating one very high traffic website or a large number of small niche websites requires a whole host of skills which you will not yet have. You only get these skills by learning, implementing what you've learnt and reflecting on what your implementation has told you.

As a beginner you have to start at the beginning - that's the rule of any game. As you learn and do more, building effective websites that make more and more money will get easier and easier. Don't be one of the many that are making marketeers rich by buying into their rhetoric of making big money quickly and without any effort.

These people end up stopping before they even started.

So How Do You Get Started?

To make money with Adsense you need two things:

1. A website, and

2. Traffic to that website

The Adsense ads are integrated into number one (your website) and are clicked on by number two (your visitors). Without these two things you cannot make money from Adsense.
